Germany supports Poland-Sweden project of “eastern partnership”

Germany has supported a Poland-Sweden project of “eastern partnership”. The chancellor Angela Merkel claimed it at a press conference given together with the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Gdansk yesterday.
Let us remind you that “eastern partnership” suggests creating a forum of regional cooperation of EU member states with Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and with Belarus (only on the expert level for the time being).

According to RIA “Novosti”, the realization of the project may lead to the abolishment of the visa regime between the EU and the mentioned countries and to the creation of a free zone for trading services and goods.
