Grybauskaitė to arrive in Minsk to discuss future elections

The Kremlin may dislike Dalia Grybauskaitė’s visit to Belarus. A Lithuanian political observer Kyastutis Girnius has expressed the opinion. The political scientist thinks that Alyaksandr Lukashenka will be satisfied with the visit although he may hear some remarks concerning democratic standards.
The DELFI portal informs that the Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė will set off for Belarus as a member of the OSCE “three”. Lithuania will preside in the organization next year. Let us remind you that the visit of the delegation headed by the Lithuanian President is appointed for October 20.

According to the Lithuanian President’s advisers, Grybauskaitė will discuss the coming presidential elections and their correspondence to the OSCE standards with Lukashenka.
