Grybauskaitė’s statement about Lukashenka caused by Minsk?
The Lithuanian President’s statement was distributed by mass media with the help of “certain structures in Minsk”. A political observer Raman Yakauleuski expressed the opinion in an interview with ERB. Let us remind you that the Lithuanian leader Dalia Grybauskaitė made the statement at a meeting with EU ambassadors in Vilnius. She said that Lukashenka’s victory could provide stability and limit Russia’s influence in post-Soviet states. Grybauskaitė’s press service does not refute the statement and does not comment on it either explaining it by the fact that it is confidential.
Yakaulyleuski thinks that the statement and Grybauskaitė’s visit are advantageous for the Belarusian leader.
Yakaulyleuski: "Speaking about Lukashenka as a modernizer, we can say that he is successfully learning in the field of political technologies including propaganda. He affects the mass media space not only in his country but also in the West and the East”.
The political observer noted that Grybauskaitė’s statement was also guided by the interest of the Lithuanian national big business.
