Guest workers from Ukraine, Baltic States and Turkey work in Minsk
Minsk City Executive Committee gave 2450 permits to foreigners wishing to work in the Belarusian capital in eight months. According to “Minsk-News”, there were 604 permits given out in 2007, 1278 – in 2008 and 3140 – in 2009. The majority of guest workers arrive in Minsk from Ukraine, the Baltic States, Turkey, Vietnam and China.
