Head of handicapped people’s society imprisoned for bribery
The head of the “Belarusian invalids’ society” Alyaksandr Hapeeu has been imprisoned for 10 years.
The Central District Court of Minsk returned him guilty of having received a 530 thousand USD bribe. The sentence has been carried out.
The head of the handicapped people’s society tried “to make money” while helping a Moscow company to buy an unfinished ceramic plant in Krupki District.
Hapeeu received a thousand dollars in his office and half a million dollars near the hotel “Minsk” where he was detained.
