Head of UCP Astravets affiliate to stand trial today

The head of Astravets affiliate of the United Civil Party will stand trial in Astravets today. He is accused of preventing a fire inspector from conducting a check-up in his house. Ulasevich thinks it is a political case and also connects it with the future presidential elections.

According to ucpb.org, Mikalai Ulasevich tried to coordinate the arrangement of the legal address of the local UCP affiliate in his house with the fire inspectorate last year. However, a fire inspector found 17 violations of preventive fire-fighting regulations. By the way, inspectors were going to conduct a check-up in Ulasevich’s house for the fourth time this year.
