Hockey player Grabovski sued
Inhabitant of British Columbia sued the hockey player of Toronto Maple Leafs and Belarusian national hockey team Mikhail Grabovski. According to Radio Liberty, Dylan Richardson accused the sportsman of assault on him at the Olympics in Vancouver.
Grabovski was then arrested by the police but no accusations were presented. Policemen claim there were many people involved in a street fight so it was impossible to accuse anyone personally.
Richardson claims he has been seriously injured and demands the player should cover his medical expenses. Grabovski, in his turn, also had his wrist injured and missed a game for the Belarusian national team. Maple leafs coach Brian Burke called this possible conflict "non-essential".
