Homel region blacked out due to snow falls

Heavy snow falls have blacked out the Homel region, eastern Belarus, with the Rechitsa district hit the most, Mikhail Shlychkou from Homelenerga told the European Radio for Belarus. Only the Mazyr district remained unaffected. A total of 150 transformer stations were disconnected.

Electricians are trying to restore the power flow in the region.
