Homel students are forbidden to participate in celebration of Day of Will

The administration of Homel State University has warned students about the inadmissibility of participation in the action dated for the Day of Will in Minsk. A first-year student of the faculty of history Alyaksandr Lyasko informed BelaPAN that the pro-rector Syarhei Haneya had warned him that he would probably be expelled from the university if he went to Minsk on March 25 and was detained by the police.

The student also informed that the pro-rector had also talked to his mother regardless of the fact that Alyaksandr Lyasko had already come of age. The pro-rector told the student’s mother that her son was creating “groupings” in the university.

Lyasko also reported that the administration of the university had talked to a number of students known for participation in the youth democratic movement and warned them about the possible consequences of participation in the action dated for the Day of Will.
