Homeless in Homel to have free bath, food and examination on tuberculosis
The Belarusian Red Cross Society Department of Chyhunachny district of Homel will conduct an action "Right for Health" among the city homeless on September 23, informs BelaPAN. The action is a part of the informational campaign "I can stop tuberculosis!" conducted in the framework of the grant provided by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
The aim of the action is to detect new cases of tuberculosis among people with no steady accomodation for their further treatment.
Homeless of Homel will have an opportunity to undergo total decontamination and fluorographic examination, to get food, hygienic supplies and vitamins. People sick in tuberculosis will be placed to hospital for treatment.
