Ignition of rubbish at Minsk Musical Comedy Theatre
The building of the State Musical Comedy Theatre of the Republic of Belarus caught fire on the morning of December 10. The press secretary of the Emergency Control Ministry Vital Navitski has informed Euroradio about it. According to him, the automatic fire alarm went off at 10.01 a.m. and firemen arrived 4 minutes later. On the whole, 20 fire-engines were sent to the object.
Navіtskі: “Rubbish caught fire in the radio workshop on the fourth floor. The fire was extinguished at 10.14. 48 people were evacuated as they were rehearsing at the theatre at that moment. People were evacuated because of the smoke formation in the building. Nobody was injured”.
