Illegal immigrants from Moldova and Ukraine caught in forests of Braslau District
Seven illegal immigrants were caught by Belarusian frontier guards during two days in Braslau District, near the Latvian border. Two Ukrainians who were trying to reach their motherland walking through forests from Latvia were detained first. Then frontier guards found a car abandoned in the forest. Then their dog helped them come upon the tracks of five citizens of Moldova who were moving in the direction of the Belarusian-Latvian border.
They were detained in the village of Lukshy, Braslau District. The detained confessed that their destination was EU countries where they had been going to find jobs.
