IMF: Belarus needs reforms for economic growth

IMF's Board of Directors said that Belarus managed to avoid a serios slowdown of the industrial production, despite a sharp drop in demand for its exported goods.

At the same time, IMF notes with concern a high deficit of Belarus' payment balance and low reserves, reports Interfax Zapad news agency.

On December 18, IMF is scheduled to consider another installment of $700 million as part of its stand-by loan. Belarus has already received $2 billion 230 million from IMF.
