IMF considers Belarus a financially reliable country
Belarus is a financially reliable country. The head of the IMF mission in Belarus Chris Jarvis has given such estimation at the briefing in Minsk on November 16. To his opinion, the level of Belarus' external debt is still low, Radio Liberty informs. Jarvis thinks the wish of the Belarusian authorities to get credits at external markets is justified. To his opinion, eurobonds' issuance this year has become a success for the authorites.
He considers the main task for Belarus is to decrease the cash transactions deficit. For this, the country needs a decent plan.
