IMF mission starts working in MInsk

The International Monetary Fund observation mission has started working in Minsk on November 3. The experts will stay in Belarus till November 16.
BelaPAN states it's an annual mission. It's goal is to observe the economic policy for the previous year and discuss the policy for the next year, as well as mid-term, with the authorities.

The parties are to discuss issues concerning monetary policy, budget and taxation policy and exchange rate. Apart from that, they will consider issues of structural reconstruction and the authorities' plans thereof for the nearest 3-5 years.

New credit program stand-by is not on the agenda of the mission.
