International beach volleyball tournament opens in Vitsebsk
An international beach volleyball tournament "Friendship Cup - 2010" started in Vitsebsk on August 20, informs BelaPAN. National teams of Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova and the team of Kaliningrad region of Russia participate in this tournament. The tournament takes place at the stadium, specially equipped for beach volleyball. This is the first stadium of the kind in Belarus - it has been opened recently in the special rest area in the center of Vitsebsk on the bank of river Vitsba. The field of this sport object is 28 meters wide and 37 meters long, in accordance with the rules of beach football. The viewing stands can admit 450 people.
