International book fair opens in Minsk

The 16th Minsk International Book Fair is to be solemnly opened on February 11 in Minsk. It will be held through February 15 at the National Exhibition Center -- Belexpo.  The Republic of Kazakhstan will be the guest of honor at the book festival. This is the fourth country after Russia, Ukraine and Israel which receives such a high status at the Belarusian book forum.

A total of 25 countries will take part in the Minsk Book Fair. Azerbaijan, Estonia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Iran and South Korea will showcase their book industry for the first time, reports BELTA.
