Iran's president arrives in Minsk
The Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has arrived in Minsk with an official visit. He is planned to meet with Aliaksandr Lukashenka, the President of Belarus.
Ahead of the visit, the Belarus-Iran business council held a meeting on May 18 when businessmen from the two countries discussed cooperation agreements. The negotiations resulted in agreements about the supply of the Belarusian steel, agricultural equipment as well as hardware for oil and energy sectors to Iran. Belarus is interested in buying fish, agricultural products and fruits from Iran, reports Belapan.
