Israel leaders unsatisfied with Lukashenka's friendship with President of Iran

The government of Israel are not happy with the friendship between Aliaksandr Lukashenka and the leader of Iran Ahmadinejad, but understand the reasons which made it happen. Such opinion has been declared by one of the high-ranked officials of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the meeting with a group of journalists of independent media from Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and Moldova.

Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel: “I think the future of Islamic world worries Lukashenka the least.  He is worried about where to sell tractors and BELaz machines, and where to take oil for his oil-processing plants. It is natural and we can understand it. I have no doubt that he would be happy to sell 5 thousand tractors to Israel rather then somewhere in the Arabic world, but unfortunately we don't have such a great market for Belarusian tractors”.

Nevertheless, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs official, the dialogue between our countries has been developing during the latest years. He expressed his sorrow this dialogue was developing faster at cultural and civic level, than at political one. He reminded there had been no official visits at the highest level so far.
