Іvan Tsіhan to be captain of Belarus National team at Beijing Olympics
A thrice world hammer-throwing champion Ivan Tsihan will be the captain of Belarus National team at Beijing Olympics. The decision was taken during a meeting of the Olympic delegation in the Ministry of Sports and Tourism on Friday.
It was suggested by the head of the Belarusian Olympic mission Alyaksandr Hryharau.
The national flag-carrier has not been chosen yet. It will be done in Beijing and it will depend of athletes’ state of health and other circumstances, informs BelTA.
