Japan to help Belarusians who suffered from Chernobyl disaster
Japan is going to allocate 1.5 million dollars to help Belarusians who suffered from Chernobyl disaster.
The country’s government approved the allocation of this sum from the UN Trust Fund for Human Security. The project will be realised in Belarus during three years.
The main purpose of the initiative is providing security for inhabitants of five districts – Slauharad, Stolin, Chachersk, Brahin and Luninets. At least 50 thousand people are supposed to get the assistance.
