Jitney driver helps detain counterfeiters
Counterfeiters have been detained in Barysau. They turned out to be two local workers and a 7th-form schoolgirl, reports “Interfax”.
A jitney driver reported to the police that somebody paid him in bad money. Two men and a girl were detained 10 minutes later. 16 counterfeit bills of different value were found on them – from 500 roubles to 50 thousands.
System units and a photo-printer were confiscated from the mens’ flats. Investigators say that the infringers printed about 20 counterfeit bills and used them to purchase goods in different shops in Barysau.
A criminal case has been started against them. The men have been detained and the 7th-form schoolgirl has been let off.
