Justice ministry targets 'aggressive' drivers

The Justice Ministry of Belarus has proposed to treat "aggressive driving" as an aggravation, according to its legislation draft, reports Interfax.

The aggressive driving is described as a behavior which leads to a higher accident risk and also includes agitated, impatient or hostile behavior or attempts to save time at the cost of other drivers.

Yury Litvin, the chief of Belarus' traffic police, noted that the notion of the "aggressive" driving" is not a legal term and declined to comment on the legislative future of this initiative.
