Kalyakin or Uhnalyou to become candidates of “Fair World”
The head of the Belarusian party of the left “Fair World” Syarhei Kalyakin has informed ERB about it. Kalyakin: "Speaking about “Fair World”, there are two people selected by regional organizations – Kalyakin and Uhnalyou”.
Kalyakin says that a party candidate can be selected at a party conference. Representatives of the party’s central committee and of regional and Minsk city committee will take part in it – about 200 people. In the end, the leader of “Fair World” thinks that it is better to elect a single opposition candidate.
Kalyakin: "However, if it is not possible (for some objective reasons) to elect a single opposition candidate, we should consider the possibility of presenting a left-wing candidate. A single left-wing candidate”.
That is why the left-wing organization is creating a political platform for the presidential elections. According to Kalyakin, it will include the possibility of working both with the single opposition candidate and with their own “left-wing” candidate.
