“Kamsamolka”’s reporter is threatened due to refusal to be finger-printed

A journalist working for “Komsomolskaya Pravda v Belarusi” Pavel Matskevcih has been summoned to Homel Central District for obligatory fingerprinting. The journalist has refused to go through the procedure and policemen have started threatening him.
Policemen informed Mitskevich that all men aged from 18 to 55 had to be fingerprinted. The journalist refused to go through the illegal procedure and the policeman told him that the department for organized crime prevention and the State Security Committee would deal with him. He can also be summoned to military periodical training where he will have to be finger-printed.
