Karatkevich's anniversary to be celebrated for five days in a row in Vorsha
The events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the famous writer Uladzimir Karatkevich will take place for several days in a row this year - from November 23 till November 28. Anniversary events aimed at commemorating the famour writer have been prepared by the city culture department, the local writers' community, the museum complex "Vorsha District's History and Culture", and the Museum of Uladzimir Karatkevich in Vorsha. The director of the museum Halina Jurkevich has informed to Radio Liberty that the first events will take place in Vorsha starting from today.
The presentation of the videofilm "From Vorsha to Rahachou with Uladzimir Karatkevich", as well as summarizing of results of the literature and art contests organized by the children's library and art school, will take place on November 23.The presentation of Uladzimir Karatkevich's fairy-tales book "The Swan Skete" illustrated by Mikola Kupava will take place on November 25.
