KGB investigator to present subpoena to Rymasheuski’s representative

The investigator has suggested meeting in town to the woman as she is not at home now. However, she has asked him to send the subpoena by post. Nevertheless, the KGB investigator would like to visit her at home today to hand in the subpoena personally, reports the human rights centre “Vyasna”.

Let us remind you that Tatstsyana Shambalava from Mahilyou was detained during the dispersal of the peaceful action on December 19 and spent 10 days in Minsk Province detention centre. The activist was on a hunger strike during the whole term of detention. She lodged a complaint about being billed after her release but the court replied that she had to pay to the detention centre because the state had provided her with “three meals a day”.
