Kobryn activist summoned to court on Freedom Day
A Kobryn activist of the BNF party Alyaksandr Meh has been summoned to court today. He had informed ERB about it:
"The case started in autumn when Lukashenka visited Kobryn during “Dazhynki”. I was detained for no reason then. I complained about it to the district court, to Brest regional court and to the Supreme Court – and all was in vain. Now they have finally chosen a day. The Supreme Court has agreed to consider the case exactly on March 25”.
Alyaksandr Meh thinks that the fact that the hearing has been appointed on the day of the anniversary of the Belarusian People’s Republic is intentional because both Tatstsyana Shaputska and Anatol Lyabedzka have also been summoned to court today. Mr. Meh asked the judge to postpone the hearing yesterday, but it brought no result.
