Latvia to reduce railway tariffs for Belarus
Latvia plans to offer acceptable railway tariffs for Belarus cargo, Latvia's State Secretary for Economy Kaspars Gerhards said during a news conference today after the meeting of the inter-governmental commission on trade, economic and scientific cooperation in Riga. The representatives of the Latvian and Belarus railways discussed the reduction of railway tariffs, Gerhards said.
Experts from the two countries are planned to have more meetings in the near future in order to study the furher cooperation options, including lower tariffs for railway cargo shipments, reports Belta.
