Leader of Abkhazia explained why Belarus does not recognize its independence

The leader of the self-proclaimed republic of Abkhazia Syarhei Bahash has claimed that Belarus has not refused to recognize the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. “It simply has its own problems”, - he noted. According to Bahash, it is necessary to discuss economic problems with Belarus first and then it will be political problems’ turn.

“Telegraph” reminds that Alyaksandr Lukashenka claimed to Russian mass media that the leaders of the self-proclaimed republics took the problem of the independence recognition in their stride. “It will be good if Belarus recognises them. And there will be nothing terrible if it does not”, - noted the state leader.
