Leaflets quoting Constitution confiscated from Vitsebsk activist

Vitsebsk police have confiscated leaflets quoting the Constitution from an activist of a recently created party “Belarusian Christian Democracy” – Kanstantsin Ivanou. The young man was distributing the leaflets near a city supermarket on the Day of Constitution, March 15. Security guards detained him and called the police. Ivanou spend two hours in the police office where a protocol of confiscation of the leaflets was drawn up. The activist has sent a complaint about “the illegal detention in the District Department of the Interior”.
