The licensed software accounts for less than 10 percent of the whole market in Belarus, according to experts from AXOFT, a company that supplies licensed computer software in Belarus. AXOFT hopes that rapid position changes will take place on the Belarusian market. The volume of the licensed software market in 2007 in Belarus grew by 70 percent against 2006 and amounted to $10-12 million.

The companies that supply licensed programs expect a stead growth for at least five years. According to experts, the software market in Belarus will be growing by 50-70 percent annually, reports Belapan
