Lida youth creates website of BLA’s newspaper “Our word”
The Francis Skaryna newspaper of the Belarusian Language Association “Our word” printed in Lida has received its own website. The edition’s editor-in-chief Stanislau Sudnik says it has been done “to keep pace with the civilization”. The idea has been realized by Lida youth:
"Young people have appeared again. This is the result of mass popularity of Lida BLA. There are 620 members in the city organization and 560 of them are students of Lida College. They have done it".
Sudnik does not expect the readership to increase but thinks that the availability of the edition’s materials to everyone is important. Let us note that “Our word” is published twice a week. Its print run is 2 thousand issues.
