Lightning kills more than 40 calves in Zhytkavichy District
More than 40 calves have died because of a thunderbolt in Zhytkavichy District. The accident occurred yesterday. Rescuers informed that a lighting struck a calf-shed situated in the village of Kolna. The thunderbolt burnt down the whole building. As a result, more than 40 calves were killed. Rescuers managed to save about 200 animals, informs BelaPAN.
