Lindner: Belarus and Germany are at a new stage of their relationship
Belarus and Germany are at a new stage of their relationship, said Minsk Forum Chair Reiner Lindner.
XIII Minsk Forum "Belarus and EU after crisis: challenges and chances in politics, economics and society" will take place on November 3-4.
According to Lindner, there will be some peculiarities in this years' forum. "Belarus is facing presidential elections. The forum will provide a good opportunity to discuss issues of political and economic character with people who have different views of Belarus' further development, including the presidential contenders", — said he.
Apart from that, Lindner underlined Belarus was reconsidering its economic relations with Russia. "We would like to hear how Belarusian representatives estimate the prospects and the level of cooperation with Russia and with the EU", —informed he.
Current German Minister Ronald Pofalla will take part in the Forum for the first time for many years, reports BelaPAN.
