Lukashenka appoints head of Penalty Department

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has appointed Valery Yaromkin head of the Penalty Department of the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affaires.
The President’s press service has informed about it, reports “Interfax”. The police major-general used to head the department of Internal Affaires of Homel Regional Executive Committee.

Let us remind you that the President dismissed a former head of the Penalty Department Uladzimir Kouchur in the middle of September, 2007. Yury Barankou was the acting head of the institution.
