Lukashenka does not rule out life presidency
The issue of life presidency was touched upon in Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s interview with the French newspaper Le Figaro, reports BelaPAN. When asked by a French journalist if he reckoned it was okay to be the president for life, the Belarusian leader replied that he had never thought about it. However, Lukashenka admitted that if allowed by the state laws and if a person is in good health and people vote for him, it was possible.
