Lukashenka: Nativity of Christ teaches us mercy and love for mankind
Aliaksandr Lukashenka greeted the Christians of Belarus who celebrate Christmas on December 25.
"Nativity of Christ is a source of faith, purity and sincerity for all the Christians. It teaches us mercy and love for the mankind, thus, helps us to become better people, more human and fair, — quotes Lukashenka's words his press-center. — This wonderful time inspires us for doing good things, for advertence and attentiveness to everyone who needs compassion, help and care".
It is also stated in the greeting: " The Nativity of Christ gets a special meaning in Belarus, where representatives of different denominations have lived since ancient times - it symbolizes consent and understanding between people".
"On a day like this we understand it clearly that peace and calmness at our land depends on ourselves. Only together, only if we join forces, we can keep prosperity in our common Belarusian house, and make it even richer and more beautiful", — said in the greeting, informs BelaPAN.
