Lukashenka obliges regional executive committees to meet with journalists

Chairpersons of regional executive committees, as well as Minsk city executive committee, will from now on conduct press-conferences for representatives of regional media no less than once a quarter. This is prescribed by the Decree No. 502, signed on September 29, informs BelaPAN. Apart from that, in accordance with the new Decree, chairpersons of local executive and regulatory bodies are supposed to organize direct telephone lines no less than once in two months. Chairpersons of other state authorities, as well as state organizations, are supposed to do it at least once a quarter.
