Lukashenka: OSCE should work out universal election assessment standards
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has taken part in the first day of the summit held by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in Astana.
According to the REGUM agency, Lukashenka also planned to meet Dzmitry Medvedev. However, the Russian President left the summit before the meeting with his Belarusian counterpart. Lukashenka decided to spend the remaining time doing sports and went to play hockey in the evening.
The Belarusian leader is supposed to make a speech at the plenary session to inform about Belarus’ position concerning the development and reforming of the OSCE on December 2.
