Lukashenka refuses to attend unofficial CIS summit again

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has refused to attend an unofficial CIS summit in Russia for the second time on end.  It is dated for the horse-race for the prize of his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev. The Ukrainian President has also refused the invitation of the Russian leader, the same as last year. Besides the Belarusian and Ukrainian leaders, almost all CIS leaders have refused to attend the informal summit. The only exception is the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. Furthermore, the Presidents of the unrecognized republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia Sergei Bagapsh and Eduard Kokoity will attend the race for the second time on end.

The Russian presidential prize horse-race will not be held in Moscow this year – they will be organized in Rostov-on-Don because the Russia-EU summit is taking place there and Dmitry Medvedev is taking part in it, informs a website Telegraf.by.
