Lukashenka: Russia's policy is ill-considered and senseless

Aliaksandr Lukashenka called Russia's policy with regard to Belarus ill-considered and senseless. At present moment the President of Belarus Aliaksandr Lukashenka is giving a press-conference for the journalists of Russian media on air. "The tactics of the Russian government will soon come to nothing. As it is a catastrophe for Russia to lose Belarus. Not only a geopolitical one, but a moral one as well.  <…> The ill-considered, senseless policy which is now forced upon us...- I don't think it will last long. Thus, there are good perspectives with regard to our relations".

Good neighbouring relations between the two countries can be renewed if there is a correspondent political will of the Russian government, - added the President. According to him, it will take him from 3 months to half a year to do so.
