Lukashenka seeks unconditional normalization with EU

Belarusian leader Alyaksandr Lukashenka reiterated his government's willingness to continue a dialogue with the European Union, but warned against preconditions, Interfax reported.
"We pursue an absolutely sincere and pragmatic course, without playing any games, quite open with the European Union and would like to completely normalize our relations," Lukashenka told outgoing Italian Ambassador Norberto Cappello.

He noted Italy's role in positive changes in relations between Belarus and the EU.
