Lukashenka in Top Five of most popular persons in Russian press

The gas dispute between Russia and Belarus has adjusted the rankings of persons mentioned in the Russian press. Last week, Belarus leader Alyaksandr Lukashenka entered Top Five in those rankings. From June 21 through June 27, the Belarusian president was mentioned in 1136 materials of Russia's various mass media that cover politics, economy and finances. Lukashenka was outrun by Russian president Medvedev, prime minister Putin and US president Barak Obama, reports Lenizdat.Ру.
