Malady Front legalized in Czech Republic

The Belarusian youth organization Malady Front (Youth Front) has been officially registered in the Czech Republic. The group was denied registration by the Belarus authorities five times in a row, while activists are routinely harassed and prosecuted for "taking part in an unregistered organization". The registration of the Malady Front was made possible through assistance from the Czeck-based Free Belarus association. The Malady Front is also expected to be registered in Poland and Ukraine.

Under the founding documents, the Malady Front as an international organization has the right to open branches in all the countries of Europe, including Belarus, notes Nasha Niva.
