Migration offices recover travel-ban database
The European Radio for Belarus reported yesterday that the Office of Visas and Registrations (OVIR) at the Frunzenski and Central districts in Minsk had their computers with the database of the persons banned from foreign travel faulty for the whole day. At the same time, border guards had no problem opening this software.
Today in the morning, the European Radio for Belarus called the migration offices in these districts to follow up on the situation:
Frunzenski OVIR: "Today we have restored the operation of the database. Please fell free to come tomorrow".
The OVIR of the Central district gave us the same answer.
