Mіkalai Autuhovіch has been on hunger strike for 90 days

A Vaukavysk entrepreneur Mikalai Autuhovich has been starving behind bars for 90 days. He demands to send his case to court or to release him with a written undertaking not to leave the state. Autuhovich’s health condition has worsened a lot and he has already lost 35 kilos.
Let us remind you that Mikalai Autuhovich, Yury Lyavonau and Uladzimir Asipenka were arrested at the beginning of February and accused of deliberate arsons. It is known that the term of Autuhovich’s detention has been prolonged until August 8. The director of the taxi company where Autuhovich worked, Lyudmila Paremskaya, and an Afghan veteran Kanstantsin Ulanau were also detained last week.

28 Belarusian opposition politicians and civil activists demanded to release the Vaukavusk entrepreneurs the other day. They asked EU member states to exercise influence on the Belarusian authorities and help save the life of Mikalai Autuhovich.
