Mikalai Autuhovich stops hunger-strike

A Vaukavysk entrepreneur Mikalai Autuhovich has stopped the hunger-strike he went on in Minsk confinement cell #1. His lawyer Pavel Sapelka has informed BelaPAN about it. Let us remind you that Autuhovuch went on hunger strike on June 16. He had been demanding medical assistance in prosthetic dentistry in vain for a long time. The first step aimed at solving the problem was a meeting with the deputy head of the medical unit of the punitive department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to Sapelka, Autuhovich managed to gain his ends. As a result of the meeting it has been promised that a specialist will visit Autuhovich within the next two days.

The lawyer thinks that the political prisoner can only get assistance in Minsk, so Autuhovich needs to stay in the capital for the term of treatment.
