Mikhalevich changes his position with regard to urging people to come to Square twice
Yesterday the presidential candidate called on voters to come out to the Kastrychnitskaya Square on December 19 and "demand fair counting of votes and free democratic election from the authorities". After that the politician's position changed, but only till the next morning.
Presidential candidate Ales Mikhalevich's appeal to Belarusian voters appeared at his personal web-site yesterday. Mikhalevich wrote: "We can say for sure that the early voting results, as well as the results of the main voting on December 19, will be rigged... I call on the Belarusian voters to come to the Kastrychnitskaya Square at 8 p.m. on December 19 and demand fair counting of votes and free democratic election from the authorities".
However, soon this appeal disappeared from the web-site. The presidential candidate's Press-Secretary Tatsiana Karenina informed to Euroradio this morning that "Ales did not call on people to come to the Square". According to her, this information had been published without sanction, and was withdrawn but not soon enough - informational agencies already took it for further publishing.
Half an hour later the situation changed. Tatsiana Karenina informed that the appeal had been returned to the web-site and its contents fully corresponded with the presidential candidate Ales Mikhalevich's position.
