Milana Mihalevich’s speech read at conference in Polish Sejm

The conference “Martial law in Belarus? How did it happen and what is next?” is taking place in the Polish Sejm today. It has been initiated by governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Relatives of Belarusian political prisoners, human rights defenders and politicians have been invited to the conference. It is known that the special services prevented Pavel Sevyarynets’ mother Tatstsyana and Ales Mihalevch’s wife Milana from leaving for Poland. Milana Mihalevich’s speech is being read aloud by the head of the “Solidarity” organization Ina Kulei.

The headmaster of the Belarusian Lyceum Uladzimir Kolas, Yuliya Bandarenka, the daughter of political prisoner Yury Bandarenka and  a human rights activist Ales Byalyatski also made their speeches.

The leader of the BPF Party Alyaksei Yanukevich, the leader of the movement “For Freedom” Alyaksandr Milinkevich, Artsyom Lyabedzka representing the United Civil Party and Zmitser Barodka from the “European Belarus” movement made speeches in another section.
